Nosler has taken the venerable .270 rifle caliber to a new level with the introduction of the all-new, .27 Nosler. Conceived as a 21st century upgrade to existing .270 calibers, the .27 Nosler delivers previously unobtainable downrange ballistics by pairing the ultimate combination of case capacity with modern long-for-caliber bullets. The result is an offering from Nosler that redefines performance as radically now as the .270 Win. did upon its introduction in 1925.
The .27 Nosler case has 42 percent more case capacity than the .270 Win., 25 percent more than the .270 WSM and 12.5% more than the .270 Wby. A faster-than-standard 1-8.5-inches twist barrel design allows the .27 Nosler to propel Nosler’s factory-loaded 150-grain AccuBond and 165gr AccuBond Long Range bullets (new for 2020) at never-before-seen velocities and distances in .270 caliber.
Special Notice: The SHOT Show is where the industry unveils the latest and greatest, but there may not be a SHOT Show 2021. Here are more details.
Nosler’s complete line of M48 rifles will also be available chambered in .27 Nosler and for reloaders, fully prepped, Nosler premium cartridge brass in .27 Nosler will be available in 25-count boxes.
This isn’t the only new cartridge news at the SHOT Show for 2020. SIG Sauer’s Cross rifle is chambered in the company’s new .277 Fury.
