Dumac Targets Encourages Shooters to Zero In On Coronavirus

From Dumac Targets

Amidst nonstop bad news about the Covid-19 virus changing everything about how we live, there’s one thing that hasn’t changed: It is still a lot of fun to go out shooting. And, there’s no better way for some much-needed stress relief than to kill the virus that’s hurting us all, blast away at some bats, or murder some murder hornets.

Dumac Targets, produced at Salt Lake City, UT-based Dumac Printing, are manufactured by an enthusiastic group of hunters, shooters, archers and general lovers of the outdoors. “We brainstormed these fun targets as a great way to let people shoot back at the virus and the 24/7 depressing news,” said Randy Schoeck, owner of DUMAC. “All day, every day, we hear about sickness, massive layoffs, and unemployment around the country…because of a virus you can’t see or one rumored to have been started by eating bats.”

That was the just the start of some creative minds producing a line of targets for indoor and outdoor ranges. While gun sales are at an all-time high, gun shop owners always want to continue seeing responsible firearms use and practice, practice, practice. Target shooting is the perfect way to do both.

“We have had shooters—both pistol, some longer range guys, and even archers—tell us it helps lighten up the mood punching holes in images of things that started this whole mess. And now of course, we’re hearing all about the murder hornets to add to our stress. For 19-years, the Bin Laden targets still get shot-up at ranges. We have a new enemy #1 with this virus and all the bad it has caused,” Schoeck said.

These full-color targets measure 18×24 inches, printed on quality paper and come in packs of 5, 10, 20 and even custom quantity for gun shops and shooting ranges. The are 100 percent made and shipped from the USA. Dumac Targets is also doing their part by contributing a portion of the sales of these targets to a First Responders Fund, to benefit the heroes and their families going the extra mile every day to help others against this illness.

Targets come in packs of 5, 10, 20 and are less than $0.50 cents each. Free targets and other items will be sent to selected customers for posting the best pictures featuring these targets and unique places they’ve used them
