Thomas Tedder established Alien Gear Holsters in 2013. He remains president of the company, which makes all its injection molded gear in its Post Falls, ID, manufacturing facility.
The firm’s first model, the original Cloak Tuck, became available in 2013 and quickly gained favor among enthusiasts. Refinement to the model continues, and the latest iteration is the Cloak Tuck 3.5.
Today the company holds several patents for its designs and offers a wide selection of holsters, including IWB, OWB and shoulder rigs. The firm’s also branched out into mag carriers and other accessories, but continues to accept custom orders from the military, law enforcement or civilian sectors.
Alien Gear, a division of Tedder Industries., merged with Old Faithful Holsters in 2014.
