In 2008 Adam Wainio founded barrel-maker Ballistic Advantage from his garage in Altamonte Springs, FL. Response from enthusiasts was good, the company grew and in 2009 the company moved operations to a warehouse in Apopka, FL.
In 2014 Aero Precision purchased a majority stake in the firm. Demand for the firm’s high-quality barrels increased significantly since then, and the company expanded into a larger Apopka facility in 2020. Today it offers complete uppers, and much more.
