Havoc Tactical Solutions Introduces the Jaw Bumper

Havoc Tactical Solutions Introduces the Jaw Bumper

From Havoc Tactical Solutions

Havoc Tactical Solutions, a veteran-owned firearms accessory company and maker of the patented Deflector Brake, is proud to introduce the Jaw Bumper.

The Jaw Bumper is a foam cheek weld pad that adds both comfort and stability to your rifle stock. It’s semi-permanent, near weightless and has a simple peel-and-stick application. The shape and feel of this accessory also allow for a more immediate and natural sight alignment. The Jaw Bumper is made for use as a single pad on a hunting rifle or both on a tactical rifle. The high-end adhesive and foam is designed to outlast the elements and keep you shooting better until you are ready to replace it.

MSRP for the Jaw Bumper is $12.99. Each product package includes two identical Jaw Bumpers. Installation is simple– just peel, stick and press in place. The product dimensions are 5.5″ x .75″ x .27″ and will fit on most rifle stocks. It is not intended for use on wood stocks as the adhesive may have an adverse affect on the finish. The product does not act, nor is it intended to act, as a riser, although your cheek placement will likely feel more natural. For more information, please visit JawBumper.com.

Galco Red Dot Sight Compatible Holsters

Galco Red Dot Sight Compatible Holsters

From Galco

Galco offers multiple holsters for handguns with red dot optical sights! With the ever-increasing popularity of red dots sights on defensive handguns, Galco is proud to offer a variety of holster options.

The patent-pending BlakGuard™ belt holster combines the best properties of Premium Center Cut Steerhide and injection-molded plastic. An adjustable internal retention device secures the handgun at the trigger guard, while neutral (vertical) cant offers the most natural wrist-locked draw stroke. A “trench” style sight rail easily accommodates most suppressor sights.

The Ankle Guard™ fuses the ultra-modern holster design and retention system of the BlakGuard with Galco’s famously-comfortable sheepskin-padded neoprene ankle cuff. The Ankle Guard fits ankles up to 13” in circumference, with an optional Boot Extender available for larger legs or wear over boots.

The Corvus™ quickly and easily converts from a belt holster to an inside-the-waistband design. With an open top for fast draw, adjustment for ride height and cant, and comfortable forward molding, the highly versatile Corvus is a superior choice for defensive carry. With the Corvus, the serious gun carrier gets two fast, concealable holsters in one.

The new Paragon™ offers comfort, very fast draw and easy return to holster. While optimized for appendix carry, the Kydex Paragon’s dual tuckable belt clips ride in slots fore and aft of the gun body and allow wide adjustment for both ride height and carry angle. Raised sweat guards on both sides of the handgun protect the wearer’s body from the gun and promote a smooth and safe return to holster. The Paragon includes a claw-type stabilizing wing for optional use.

These are just some of the holsters Galco offers for guns equipped with red dot sights. See Galco’s complete line at galcousa.com!

GLOCK Prevails After Extensive Lawsuit

GLOCK Prevails After Extensive Lawsuit

From Glock

On Tuesday, September 15, 2020, a Federal Judge for The United States District Court, Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta Division, issued a decision in the case of GLOCK, INC. v. THE WUSTER INC., d/b/a AirSplat.com, Civil Action No. 1:14-cv-00568. The Defendant operated AirSplat retail locations and an Internet retail store at AirSplat.com that sold airsoft guns and related products. The Court’s decision yesterday ended a six and a half year lawsuit between the parties in favor of GLOCK.

In February of 2014, GLOCK filed a multi-count complaint against the Defendant for trademark infringement, trade dress infringement, and related claims under federal and state law.

The Defendant imported Glock Replicas, marketed, advertised for sale, and did sell the Glock Replicas using GLOCK’s trade dress and trademarks. The Court found that the Defendant “intended to, and did, create actual market confusion in the minds of the consumers as to whether they were genuine or licensed GLOCK products, in violation of Glock’s registered trade dress and legally protected rights.”

The Court found the Defendant liable to GLOCK for the following:
• Infringement of GLOCK’s registered trademarks and trade dress in violation of the Federal Lanham Act;
• Unfair competition in violation of Georgia statutory and common law; and
• Unjust enrichment in violation of George common law.

The Court awarded monetary damages to GLOCK totaling $ 2,253,078.28, consisting of:
• Disgorgement of the Defendant’s profits realized from selling infringing Glock Replicas;
• Pre-Judgement interest; and
• Attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses.

The Court also awarded a Permanent Injunction to GLOCK prohibiting Defendant and various other persons from selling GLOCK replica pistols in the future or otherwise infringing GLOCK’s trademarks or trade dress.

“This is a resounding victory for GLOCK against a seller of replica airsoft products,” said Carlos Guevara, Vice President and General Counsel of GLOCK, Inc. “This ruling puts potential infringers like Airsplat on notice that GLOCK will vigorously prosecute its intellectual property rights against those who would infringe.”

And Glock fans will want to take a close look at the new Glock P80s available exclusively from Lipsey’s.

Zeta6 Pocket Carry Speedloader for 5-Shot Ruger LCR Revolvers

From Zeta Industries

Zeta Industries is pleased to introduce the first low cost, compact speedloader designed specifically for the 5-shot Ruger LCR chambered in 38SP/357. Designed for comfortable everyday carry, the J-CLIP-R™ is a low cost, polyurethane speedloader that arranges all five rounds in a circular pattern for fast reloading. Unlike traditional rigid speedloaders, J-CLIP-R™ is narrow and flexible making it great for concealed pocket carry. The thin, flexible material allows the cartridges to flex and conform when in a pocket yet align the rounds perfectly when reloading the revolver. This is the second speedloader product introduced this year under the Zeta6™ brand, which also has compact speedloaders for both J and K frame size revolvers. www.zetasix.com

“This LCR speedloader is modeled after our popular J-CLIP™ for S&W J-frame revolvers, but is designed to work perfectly in the Ruger LCR,” says Michael Lyle, product designer. “As with original J-CLIP™, we wanted to provide the smallest, most comfortable pocket-carry speedloader product for one-step reloading. Because of its size, weight, and reliability, the Ruger LCR is a popular EDC weapon that is due its own EDC speedloader.”

The Zeta6™ J-CLIP-R™ works perfectly with all 5-shot Ruger LCR revolvers chambered in 38 Special and 357 Magnum.

Zeta6™ J-CLIP-R™ speedloaders come in 2-packs and retail for $11.95. They are available now on the zetasix.com website.

NSSF Releases 2020 Congressional Report Card

NSSF Releases 2020 Congressional Report Card

From NSSF

NSSF, the trade association for the firearm industry, released its 2020 Congressional Report Card, grading all 431 U.S. Representatives and 100 U.S. Senators on key legislation that was of critical importance to the firearm and ammunition industry, Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens and America’s hunters and target shooters. Four seats in the U.S. House of Representatives remain vacant.

“This scorecard is of vital importance to voters as we head into November elections. This tells voters exactly where their lawmakers stand on issues they care about like recreational shooting and hunting and the right to keep and bear arms,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. “The unparalleled firearm sales this year reflect the importance of ensuring lawmakers continue to protect and support the industry that makes it possible for Americans to exercise their Second Amendment rights. This nonpartisan scorecard reflects the voting record of each legislator. These grades indicate their public voting record as well as the weight and importance of these lawmakers sponsoring and co-sponsoring key legislation, their work on committees, letters signed to support issues and leadership to stand for our industry.”

NSSF awarded 17 U.S. Senators and 97 U.S. Representatives the highest rating of “A+.” This includes U.S. Sens. Steve Daines (R-Mont.), Cory Gardner (R-Colo.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), David Perdue (R-Ga.) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.). Congressman Collin Peterson (D-Minn.) was also among the lawmakers awarded the highest rating.

Grades are meant to analyze the level of support of each lawmaker during the 116th Congress and do not constitute an endorsement or opposition to a candidate’s election. The entire report, including the list of key legislation that comprised the scores, is available here.
