It offers two lighting modes, LED only or LED strobe, each with a run time of 1.5 hours. The light is energized by a single 3 Volt CR123A lithium battery.

The new TLR-7 sub features a one-handed, snap on and tighten interface that keeps hands away from gun muzzles when attaching or detaching them. The light also includes a Safe Off feature, locking it so it cannot be turned on accidentally. Each model of the TLR-7 sub features a specialized clamp system for mounting to rails, using the provided key kit.

Constructed with 6000 Series machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish, the TLR-7 sub weighs 2.39 ounces and measures 2.51 inches in length. It features an IPX7-rated design, making it waterproof to one meter for 30 minutes, as well as impact-resistant construction.

New Guns & Gear for 2021—Uberti Hardin and Teddy Replica Revolvers to Their Famed Outlaws & Lawmen Series

New Guns & Gear for 2021—Uberti Hardin and Teddy Replica Revolvers to Their Famed Outlaws & Lawmen Series

From Uberti

The history of the Old West pitted heroes and gunfighters against each other in a fight for control of the expanding frontier. Uberti USA celebrates this duality with the addition of the Hardin and Teddy replica revolvers to the Outlaws & Lawmen Series. The two new guns join Uberti USA’s homage to famous heroes and gunfighters such as Jesse James, Frank James, Doc Holliday, Bob Dalton, Wild Bill Hickok and William “Billy the Kid” Bonney.

After reportedly killing his first man at aged 15, John Wesley Hardin spent the rest of his life being pursued by lawmen. Hardin sewed his holsters into his vest with the butts of the pistols pointing inwards so he could quickly pull them with a cross draw, which Hardin claimed was the fastest way to draw. Uberti USA’s Hardin revolver follows the lines of his S&W top-break revolver.

Aesthetically, the Hardin revolver’s contrast of case-colored frame against the charcoal blue barrel and cylinder along with a simulated bison-horn grip gives the gun a unique look that draws the eye. Chambered in .45 Colt, the Hardin features a 7-inch barrel and fluted cylinder for an authentic styling reminiscent of the glory days of the Old West.

Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt wore many hats throughout his lifetime, including hunter, conservationist, military officer and the 26th U.S. President. Frequently along with him on his adventures and service, his beloved Colt revolver was close at hand. The Uberti USA Teddy revolver faithfully replicates Roosevelt’s beloved 1873 Colt.

The gun features full laser engraving along the frame, cylinder and barrel. Fully nickel plated, the revolver’s look is complemented by simulated ivory grips for a striking appearance. Chambered in .45 Colt, the Teddy is durable as it is beautiful and embodies a true American hero who lead a life full of adventure.

New Guns & Gear for 2021—Franchi Momentum Rifle Line Expands and Now Available in .350 Legend

New Guns & Gear for 2021—Franchi Momentum Rifle Line Exands and Now Available in .350 Legend

From Franchi

Franchi now offers a new color option to its line of Momentum rifle line and also addresses certain states’ hunting regulations requiring straight-walled centerfire cartrides with the addition of the Momentum chambered in .350 Legend. The latest offering joins three popular calibers in the Momentum line including 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win. and .300 Win. Mag.

The most visually distinct feature of the Momentum rifle is its revolutionary stock. The stock combines raised curves and crisp checkering at strategic places along the rifle, delivering the most ergonomic feel and positive hold in the five most commonly used shooting positions. Sling-attachment points are recessed on the Momentum’s stock, eliminating the need for intrusive swivel studs. At the butt, the Franchi’s popular TSA recoil pad absorbs 50 percent of the rifle’s felt recoil with integrated contours to offer more comfortable benchrest shooting positions.

Momentum’s barrel is a cold-hammer-forged chrome-molybdenum with a matte finish and free floated for enhanced accuracy. The ends of the threaded-barrel configurations (5/8 x 24 thread) are protected by a knurled cover that is easy to remove when utilizing barrel accessories or supressors. The Momentum features a two-position safety, which allows the bolt to be operated when the rifle has been made safe. Franchi’s proprietary RELIA Trigger delvers a crisp break and can be adjusted from 2 to 4 pounds.

The rifle’s RELIA Bolt features a one-piece, spiral-fluted bolt with three locking lugs for solid lockup to deliver increased accuracy. The bolt has a short, 60-degree throw for faster cycling and is easy to disassemble when cleaning. Offering 4+1 capacity (3+1 for .300 Win. Mag.), the Momentum sports a hinged floorplate magazine.

The Momentum rifle chambered in 6-5 Creedmoor, .308 Win. and .300 Win. Mag. are now available in Hunter Gray along with Flat Dark Earth. The new chambering in .350 Legend will be available in Flat Dark Earth only.

New Guns & Gear for 2021— Uberti USA 1885 Courteney Stalking Rifle Chambered in .45-70 Government

New Guns & Gear for 2021— Uberti USA 1885 Courteney Stalking Rifle Chambered in .45-70 Government

From Uberti

Introduced in 2020, the Uberti 1885 Courteney stalking rifle harkens back to the dangerous times at the turn of the century where hunters and explorers roamed wild lands in search of big game and adventure. Originally available in .303 British only, Uberti USA continues to honor this tradition by offering this rifle in the popular .45-70 Government chambering.

The 1885 Courteney Stalking Rifle carries the name of famed hunter, explorer and conservationist F. Courteney Selous. Selous spent his life pursuing and collecting African game, becoming not only one of the most legendary “Great White Hunters” but also a scout, explorer and guide who opened many trails of the uncharted continent.

Just like its .303 British brother, the Courteney Stalking Rifle in .45-70 boasts classic British lines along with a case-hardened receiver, trigger and a rock-solid 1885 falling-block lever action. The AA-Satin Prince of Wales stock with a classic rubber butt-pad complements an African heartwood tipped forend to create a distinctive look that resonates from the time of Selous’ forays into the wild. The blued barrel sports a barrel band, a hooded front sight and a quarter-rib base with a fully adjustable V rear sight. The base is machined to accept Weaver-style scope rings, and a sleek quarter-rib with no provision for scope mounting is also available as an accessory to those preferring to hunt with open sights only. And weighing in at a mere 7.1 pounds, the rifle features sling attachment points on the barrel band and buttstock to make this rifle easy and comfortable to carry all day.

Single-shot rifles offer a challenge to hunters to make their shot count, and the Uberti USA 1885 Courteney Stalking Rifle’s 24-inch barrel and sturdy falling block create the perfect platform for hyper-accurate shooting. The .45-70 chambering gives hunters in states requiring straight-walled cartridges another option to hunt deer. Perfect for the whitetail woods and African plains alike, the Courteney is an affordable rifle that connects the past and the future and embraces the tradition and nostalgic experience of the hunters who stalked big game in the wilds of Africa.

New Guns & Gear for 2021— Franchi Adds Varmint Rifle to Momentum Elite Family

New Guns & Gear for 2021— Franchi Adds Varmint Rifle to Momentum Elite Family

From Franchi

Franchi’s first foray into bolt-action rifles was a huge success with the introduction of the Momentum rifle. New models have been introduced with updated features and performance to create the Momentum Elite line. Franchi adds another rifle to the family with the Momentum Elite Varmint Rifle. Chambered in popular varmint calibers, the latest iteration features an all-new stock designed specifically for varmint hunting and covered in the versatile OPTIFADE Subalpine camo.

The three new caliber offerings highlight three preferred varmint rounds ideal for taking down small game. Chambered in .223 Rem., .22-250 Rem. and .224 Valkyrie, the Momentum Elite Varmint rifle pairs accurate rounds with precision shooting on a dependable platform.

Designed specifically for varmint hunting, the rugged EVOLVED EGONOM-X synthetic stock features a removable cheek rest and checkered-polymer grip for a custom fit to individual shooters. A TSA recoil butt pad takes the bite out long days of shooting by reducing felt recoil by up to 50 percent. A one-piece picatinny rail sits atop the receiver for easy optic mounting.

Varmint hunting requires precise shooting and the Momentum Elite Varmint rifle achieves MOA accuracy by pairing a heavy, spiral-fluted barrel covered in weather-resistant, glare-reducing Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish with the RELIA TRIGGER; adjustable from 2-4 pounds for crisp breaks. A muzzle break covers the end of the treaded barrel helping reduce muzzle rise for quick follow-up shots. Identical to the original Momentum Elite, the varmint model’s RELIA Bolt sports three large locking lugs with a 60-degree throw for fast and smooth cycling. The new varmint rifle comes with a flush-mount magazine along with an extended magazine for high-volume shooting.

NRA Announces Reincorporation Plan

NRA Announces Reincorporation Plan

From NRA

The NRA announced a restructuring plan that positions us for the long-term and ensures our continued success as the nation’s leading advocate for constitutional freedom – free from the toxic political environment of New York.

The plan can be summed up quite simply: We are DUMPING New York, and we are pursuing plans to reincorporate the NRA in Texas.

To facilitate the strategic plan and restructuring, the NRA and one of its subsidiaries filed voluntary chapter 11 petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. As you may know, chapter 11 proceedings are often utilized by businesses, nonprofits and organizations of all kinds to streamline legal and financial affairs.

Under the plan, the NRA will continue what we’ve always done – confronting anti-gun, anti-self-defense and anti-hunting activities and promoting constitutional advocacy that helps law-abiding Americans. Our work will continue as it always has. No major changes are expected to the NRA’s operations or workforce.

Importantly, our plans do not impact your membership at any level.

NRA supporters will continue to enjoy all their full member benefits – from new members to Life Members to Benefactor Members. We will continue to publish and deliver your magazines. We will continue to train Americans and teach them firearm safety. We will continue to teach hunter safety. But most importantly, we will continue to fight for your freedom and the freedom of all Americans – as we have for all these years. In fact, we are expanding our national platform.

The plan aims to streamline costs and expenses, proceed with pending litigation in a coordinated and structured manner, and realize many financial and strategic advantages.

You know that our opponents will try to seize upon this news and distort the truth. Don’t believe what you read from our enemies. The NRA is not “bankrupt” or “going out of business.” The NRA is not insolvent. We are as financially strong as we have been in years.

But they know today’s announcement makes us bigger, stronger and more prepared for the fight for freedom.

We are leaving the state of an attorney general who, just a few months ago, vowed to put us out of business through an abuse of legal and regulatory power. ?In fact, the gross overreach of the New York Attorney General and New York Governor has been resoundingly criticized by powerful national groups like the ACLU and a host of prominent legal scholars.

Subject to court approval, the NRA is pursuing plans to reincorporate in the State of Texas. The Lone Star State is home to more than 400,000 NRA Members and the site of our 2021 Annual Meeting being held in Houston.

Texas values the contributions of the NRA, celebrates our law-abiding members, and joins us as a partner in upholding constitutional freedom.

Under this plan, we seek protection from New York officials who illegally abused and weaponized the powers they wield against the NRA and its members. You can be assured the Association will continue the fight to protect your interests in New York – and all forums where the NRA is unlawfully singled out for its Second Amendment advocacy.

This plan represents a pathway to opportunity, growth and progress.

This is the most transformational moment in the history of the NRA. And it involves all of you.

The NRA will continue to promote its Second Amendment advocacy, sponsor firearms training, and work with its network of instructors and volunteers in furtherance of its mission. This plan actually streamlines all of the NRA’s activities and improves our operational processes.

I know we have welcomed many of you to our headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia. We have no immediate plans to relocate, but we are forming a special committee to explore our strategic options in this regard. We want to determine if there are advantages to relocating our HQ operations to another state. I have asked our leadership team to explore all options that benefit the NRA and its members.

What’s most important is leading the fight for Second Amendment freedom and serving our members. We will do that from anywhere that works best for you and for our cause.

All membership dues and financial donations will be fully dedicated to supporting our operations and public advocacy. This plan actually improves our business. It protects us from costly, distracting and unprincipled attacks from anti-2A politicians aimed at attacking the NRA because we are a potent political force. We know that the gun ban lobby will never stop – fueled by a hatred of your freedoms and by wealthy benefactors. Our plan is the best way to confront them.

We are now prepared for a better future. In fact, to me, it feels like the dawn of a new day.

We are revitalized, well-positioned, and steadfast in our commitment to fight for you. To learn more, please visit www.nra.org/forward.

Thank you for your unwavering spirit and being part of the NRA’s future. Both hold incredible promise for our country – and the freedoms in which it believes.

Wayne LaPierre, NRA CEO & EVP

Questions & Answers

What did the NRA announce?

This is a transformational moment for the NRA. We announced a new strategic plan called Project Freedom.

The NRA’s new strategic plan involves pursuing reincorporating the Association from the State of New York to the State of Texas – home to more than 400,000 NRA members and site of the 2021 NRA Annual Meeting being held in Houston.

The NRA’s restructuring plan also aims to help the NRA streamline costs and expenses, proceed with pending litigation in a coordinated and structured manner, and realize many financial and strategic advantages.

The restructuring plan positions our organization for the future – and ensures our continued success as the nation’s leading advocate for constitutional freedom.

Is the NRA going “bankrupt?”

No. In fact, this move comes at a time when the NRA is in its strongest financial condition in years.

To facilitate its reorganization, the NRA and one of its subsidiaries filed voluntary chapter 11 petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division. The NRA is not insolvent.

We expect no impacts to NRA programming.

Nothing is more important to the NRA than protecting the Second Amendment rights of our law-abiding members. We will be as effective as ever in advocating for your rights, promoting firearms education and training, and engaging in public endeavors.

What happens to my NRA membership?

Nothing. Your membership remains intact.

NRA supporters will continue to enjoy all their full member benefits – from new members to Life Members to Benefactor Members. We will continue to publish and deliver your magazines. We will continue to train Americans and teach them firearms safety. We will continue to teach hunter safety.

But most importantly, we will continue to fight for your freedom as we have for all these years. In fact, we are expanding our national platform.

Can people still join the NRA – and why should they?

Absolutely! There could not be a more exciting time to join the NRA. We are expanding our national platform, and our future is bright and secure. We invite all law-abiding gun owners and all Americans to be part of it.

By filing for chapter 11, is the NRA admitting it mismanaged donor funds?

Not at all. We have utilized all donor contributions in furtherance of the NRA’s mission. This action is necessitated primarily by one thing: the unhinged and political attack against the NRA by the New York Attorney General.

A restructuring plan is a proven mechanism for streamlining legal and business affairs. All membership fees and donations will continue to be used in furtherance of our Second Amendment advocacy.

Can you guarantee member donations will be used to protect our Second Amendment rights?

All donations are used for the purpose of advancing the NRA’s mission, period.

Should I donate to the NRA during the chapter 11 process, or should I wait until the Association emerges from the restructuring process?

We need your support now – as we confront a Biden Administration that has vowed to attack your Second Amendment freedoms. All donations are used in furtherance of our mission.

Will there be impacts to endowed funds?

No. Endowed funds will still be used to support the NRA’s core mission: protecting the Second Amendment. ?

?When will the restructuring process be completed?

This process begins immediately. The NRA is expected to emerge from these proceedings within the next six months.

What can I do to support the NRA?

Join today. Promote our cause. Get fully engaged. We must continue to win the fight for constitutional freedom.

New Guns & Gear for 2021—Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 in 20-Ga. And 3-in. 12 Ga.

New Guns & Gear for 2021—Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 in 20-Ga. And 3-in. 12 Ga.

From Benelli

Benelli forever changed the expectations of waterfowl hunters with the introduction of the venerable Super Black Eagle shotgun. Continued innovation drives the evolution of the shotgun with updated features and performance. Benelli offers the latest iterations in a variety of 3-inch 12 gauges along with 3-inch 20-gauge shotguns that are a little lighter but just as effective and enjoyable to shoot.

“For three decades, the Super Black Eagle platform has dominated the semi-auto waterfowl market as a 3.5” 12-gauge shotgun,” said Tim Joseph, VP of Brand Marketing for Benelli USA. “We’ve applied all of the Super Black Eagle 3 enhanced updates and ergonomics to 3” 20-gauge and 3” 12-gauge models for 2021. We know the 20-gauge in particular will be a welcome addition for hunters who want the feature sets of a SBE3 but prefer a lighter gauge as well as for waterfowlers who are hunting areas that mandate the use of sub-gauge shotguns.”

The Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 boasts dozens of features and enhancements that improve the way the shotgun looks, feels and performs. At the heart of the SBE3 is the ultra-reliable inertia-driven action, which is centered around an Easy-Locking Bolt System – an enhanced breech-closing system that eliminates the possibility for a shooter-induced stoppage when trying to softly close the bolt or when the shotgun is treated roughly in the blind. And because hardcore waterfowl hunters don’t stay out of the field in frigid weather, the new SBE3 is designed for easier operation with gloved and/or cold hands. The oversized bolt handle, oversized bolt release, oversized safety and redesigned magazine cap along with the enlarged load port make for easier operation in cold conditions.

The Easy Fitting System of the SBE3 includes a shim kit that allows for up to eight different cast-and-drop configurations. The stock and forend design and rounded trigger give the SBE3 a smoother feel and make the shotgun easier to shoulder and swing on passing targets.

The design of the Super Black Eagle 3 reduces felt recoil with its third generation ComforTech 3 stock and Combtech cheek pad. The SBE3’s inertia-driven system is easier to clean and requires less maintenance than the action of a conventional, gas-operated semi-auto.
