From Primary Arms
Primary Arms Optics is proud to announce its sponsorship for Legacy Jump, a Veteran’s day extreme-sports fundraising event supporting veteran and first-responder charities. This televised event will be hosted at the National WWI Museum and Monument in Kansas City, MO, and features tandem skydiving and BASE-jumping demonstrations from American veterans.
Legacy Jump is hosted by the Bird’s Eye View Project, a veteran-focused 501(c)3 led by Ryan “Birdman” Parrott. Parrott is a former SEAL Team 7 veteran and Purple Heart recipient, who has dedicated his career to campaigning for veteran and first responder causes. Starting on the morning of November 11th, Legacy Jump will begin with a tandem skydive an all-veteran parachute team, which includes veterans from World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, the Persian Gulf, the War in Afghanistan, and the War in Iraq. Parrott will cap off the event with a BASE jump from the memorial’s 217-foot tower, honoring POW-MIAs of the Great War.
“We are proud to be able to support Legacy Jump in this groundbreaking event,” says Dina Sanders, Primary Arms’ Brand Marketing Manager. “Veterans make up a core part of the Primary Arms team, so we’re always eager to support veteran and first-responder causes. Legacy Jump will bring a lot of new attention to issues close at heart.”
Legacy Jump is just one way that Primary Arms has supported veteran causes through 2020. In addition to their veteran discount program, Primary Arms recently received acknowledgement from Texas’ ‘We Hire Vets’ program, which highlights businesses that put an emphasis on veteran employment.
