New Guns & Gear for 2021—Athlon Optics Helos BTR GEN2 Scope

From Athlon Optics

Precision shooting solutions are not just for the range. Meet the Helos BTR GEN2 from Athlon Optics. This First Focal Plane cross-over scope brings precision shooting features to the modern hunter as well. Simple push/pull locking windage and elevation turrets, paired with a precision zero stop ensure you never lose track of your zero.

Available in 4 magnification ranges:

The 1-10x28mm built on a 34mm tube brings versatility to the modern sporting rifle. In lieu of a zero stop, this second focal plane is equipped with capped turrets.

Which is better, a wire or etched reticle? The experts had some surprising comments during my interviews.

The 2-12x42mm is suitable for close range hunting or your favorite DMR. A forgiving eyebox, compact, and robust; this 25.5 oz scope is ready for any mission.

The 4-20×50 delivers the ideal balance of field of view, with magnification range for mid to long range shooting.

The 6-24x56mm lets you push the limits with a 34mm tube allowing 29 MILS or 100 MOA of total elevation adjustment.

AFMC Advanced Fully Multi-Coated, a uniquely designed coating applied on all lens surfaces that gives better light transmission, allowing optimum brightness and true color across the entire light spectrum.

FFP First Focal Plane provides reticle validity at all magnifications.

Locking Elevation Turret allows you to push down to lock the turret and pull up to turn. This feature prevents the elevation knob from being turned accidentally and keeps your zero all the time.

Precision Zero Stop System allows you to lock down your zero position and dial back to it with a sharp and precise stop right at your zero mark.
