AmeriGlo

It was 2001 when Rick Callihan launched AmeriGlo in Roswell, GA. The company specialized in aftermarket tritium, fiber-optic and high-visibility sights for handguns and built a sterling reputation for delivering performance ideal for self-defense.

Trijicon acquired AmeriGlo in 2018. The transition was an easy one, since the two companies already had a close working relationship solidified through the years by the number of AmeriGlo night sights shipped with Trijicon tritium inserts.

“The AmeriGlo brand is a natural fit for us,” said Stephen Bindon, president of Trijicon. “This purchase will further enhance Trijicon’s ever-expanding product and brand portfolio, while increasing our manufacturing capacity to better serve end-users across the spectrum.”

“The team at AmeriGlo looks forward to this new relationship with Trijicon,” said Callihan, who remained with the company. “AmeriGlo customers will see no interruption to the exceptional quality and service they have grown accustomed to over the years. Our dedicated staff in Georgia will remain in place, and we’ll continue making sights for our valued clients.”

AmeriGlo has continued to function as an independent brand since then. All of the company’s sights start as U.S.-made bar stock steel.

The company introduced its first red-dot pistol sight in 2021, the Haven. With a standard RMR footprint, 3.5 MOA dot and wearing the company’s trademark rugged construction, the line quickly gained favor among gun owners.
