From Blackbird Products
Blackbird Products Group, LLC, parent company of Mammoth Coolers and Mammoth PPE products, is proud to announce that they will be making a donation on every Mammoth Heritage Series cooler sold through June 30, 2021, to The Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project (TCDJHP), a veteran charity co-founded by the late country music icon and patriot Charlie Daniels and his personal Manager, David Corlew.
“Both Charlie and I were very excited about our new venture with Mammoth Coolers. With the passing of Charlie, we stand determined to carry on the American Patriot Spirit that both Charlie and Mammoth stand for,” said David Corlew, Founder and Executive Director of TCDJHP. “This also provides the opportunity to continue our mission with The Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project to support the needs of veterans and their reintegration back into civilian life.”
Bob George, Director of Sales and Marketing of Blackbird Products Group, LLC stated, “This project had been in development for over eight months, with the original plan to introduce it during the spring of 2020. When the pandemic hit, we put everything on hold as did everybody in the country. At that point, we started looking at a potential 2020 fall announcement. However, in July we received the devastating news that Charlie had passed away. We are very appreciative of Charlie’s family and The Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project as well as David Corlew for allowing us to move forward with this fund-raising project in Charlie’s honor.”
Michael Hannigan, CEO of Blackbird Products Group stated, “We are proud to honor those who have sacrificed so much and in doing so honor the late Charlie Daniels and the organization that he was so passionate about. The Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project will benefit from sales on all of the Heritage Series Coolers which consist of the 2nd Amendment, Don’t Tread On Me, Blue Line, Red Line, Old Glory, and the Betsy Ross Flag wrapped cooler. On behalf of our team and our valued dealers, it is our pleasure to thank and assist our veterans as they return to their pre-military lives”.
When referring to veterans, Daniels stated it best when he said, “We believe that every soldier has his or her own path. The path is different; the process remains the same; To Return. To Rehabilitate. To Reintegrate. We appreciate the opportunity to partner with Mammoth Coolers and to generate funds and most importantly knowledge around The Journey Home Project.”
Mammoth will also be promoting the partnership through promotional packaging, In-store promotions, social media outlets, and television commercials on several outdoor sports networks, including ESPN II.
