ALPS OutdoorZ, premiere manufacturer of extreme-duty packs and gear for big-game hunters and outdoor adventurers, expands its line of X-series products for backcountry hunters with the introduction of the new Renegade X compression stuff sack.
The Renegade X was developed to provide maximum water protection and content compression for backcountry adventurers to keep gear dry and secure in any environment. Constructed of 70D nylon ripstop with a durable waterproof coating and waterproof taped seams, the Renegade X features a special Air Control bottom fabric that allows air to be pushed out during compression. This design means no volume is wasted on trapped air so contents such as clothes or a sleeping bag can be stuffed to maximum density, creating a smaller footprint on a backpack or in a transport. The Air Control bottom fabric also eliminates valves utilized on some dry bag models that can fail over time.
Adding to the Renegade X’s extreme adventure construction are strong nylon webbing cinch straps with bartacked stress points and a rolltop closure with quick-release buckles. The Renegade X is available in the following sizes and capacities:
- Small, 10L, 7”D x 16”L, 4.8 oz.
- Medium, 20L, 9”D x 20”L, 6.4 oz.
- Large, 35L, 11”D x 23”L, 7.2 oz.
- XL, 45L, 12”D x 25”L, 8 oz.
