Expanding its widely successful lineup of 350 Legend® cartridge offerings, Winchester is announcing two new additions to the Winchester® 350 Legend line: Deer Season XP® Copper Impact® and Defender® personal defense loads.
The Copper Impact product is loaded with a 150-grain Copper Extreme Point® bullet that features a hollow nose cavity topped with a large-diameter polymer tip. This tough bullet offers accelerated expansion for supreme energy transfer while achieving extremely deep penetration and maximum weight retention. The solid copper projectile also provides hunters the opportunity to use 350 Legend cartridges in areas that do not allow traditional lead projectiles.
The new 350 Legend Defender provides a bonded protected hollow-point bullet in its 160-grain loading that delivers an ideal balance of terminal performance characteristics for home defense situations. The rugged bullet includes bonded core technology that assures a combination of high-retained weight and massive energy transfer. Loaded with a nickel-plated shell case, this modern straight-walled cartridge functions in a variety of firearm platforms that are common for defensive applications.
