AA® Diamond Grade™ Elite Trap is the newest competition target load from Winchester® Ammunition.
Like its predecessor, AA Diamond Grade, the new Elite Trap is loaded with an alloyed 8% antimony shot, which is the hardest shot available. Winchester has taken an additional step of precision sorting the shot to ensure that only the most round and consistent pellets make the grade, and the result is extremely consistent patterns that are tighter and more uniform for more broken birds and higher scores. Where the two products differ is that the new Elite Trap is non-plated Diamond Grade shot, which is legal for use in sanctioned Amateur Trapshooting Association events (ShootATA.com).
AA Diamond Grade Elite Trap will be offered in 12-gauge 1 1/8 ozs #7½ at 1250 fps. This is a perfect load for handicap shooting all the way back to the 27-yard line. With the world-renowned AA® Wad, payloads are meant not just to chip but also to powder clay targets. And with all that on the inside, Winchester has put a nickel-plated head on the outside of the cartridge, making for smoother feeding and extraction.
