The Mycro Knife Sharpener is small, lightweight, ideal for the field and has an MSRP of less than $13. Its aluminum construction houses a carbide cutter suitable on all blade materials—including stainless and high-carbon steel. It also has a ceramic side for fine sharpening and honing needs and to put on that finishing tough. .

Ten to a dozen passes through the carbide sharpener, followed by the same number through the ceramic side and the knife is ready to go. The 40-degree angle is suitable for nearly all blade geometries.

True Knives is the manufacturer, a company that understands the importance of maintaining the fine edge. The Mycro Knife Sharpener is minimalistic in design, making it suitable for EDC. It has a lanyard hole, rubber grip and it’s small. The size along means it can even ride on a keychain, keeping it ready for the next mission.
