ArachniGRIP, maker of the must-have Slide Spider® slide grip, is proud to introduce a new slide grip design, called the R.D.O.S. Slide Spider, for handguns with optic systems.

ArachniGRIP’s new category of grips offer the same comfort and advantage of the original Slide Spider grips, but in a new design that will work with mounted optic systems. Pistol-mounted red dot optic systems are a popular trend for personal defense firearms. These systems go by many names or acronyms, including M.O.S., C.O.R.E., RMR, reflex sight and more. Regardless of the name, these systems all have one thing in common: a red dot. For this reason, ArachniGRIP has named this new grip category R.D.O.S., which stands for Red Dot Optic System.

The new R.D.O.S. Slide Spider will work with or without the optic system attached. These grips are slightly different than the original Slide Spider because of their three-piece design. By dividing the grip into three pieces, ArachniGRIP was able to add gripping material to the left and right sides of the slide regardless of whether the optic system is on. The third piece is designed to be attached to the removable metal slide plate for when the optic system is not mounted.

The R.D.O.S. Slide Spider grips have an MSRP of $19.95. These grips can be found on the ArachniGRIP website under the category marked R.D.O.S. They will continue to add designs to this category as quickly as possible.

“We have been seeing a lot of requests for grips to fit handguns with optic systems,” says Robert Biedenbach of ArachniGRIP. “We have responded to our customers’ requests by creating the R.D.O.S. grip. The Slide Spider slide grips from ArachniGRIP are available for most semi auto pistol models. These products enable the shooter to gain increased control through a safe and secure hold. Brownells announced the next generation of its popular BRN-180 uppers, including the much-anticipated version chambered in 300 AAC Blackout, perfect for use with a suppressor.

Launched at SHOT Show 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the BRN-180 uppers combine features of the classic AR-180 with modern upgrades such as a full-length Picatinny rail and a free-float M-LOK handguard.

All BRN-180 Gen2 uppers are ideal for folding stocks or braces as the recoil mechanism is totally contained inside the upper.

The BRN-180 Gen2 updates include a new method of securing the handguard and adjustable gas blocks for all barrel lengths to optimize suppressor use.

Blackhawk, a leader in law enforcement, military and shooting sports for over 25 years, announced today that it has expanded its popular line of T-Series holsters with the introduction of the Level 2 Compact (L2C) models specifically engineered to accommodate Colt 1911 and Springfield XD pistols.

The new dual-injected molded holsters are available in a right-hand configuration. Like previously introduced Blackhawk models, the L2C holster is designed to provide users a compact holster with level 2 retention. Each holster model is standard with a new speed cut to help with a faster draw and features a low-profile design for ease of concealment. The L2C holster is also RDS-compatible, giving users the ability to add a red dot to their carry firearm.

Blackhawk L2C holsters are duty-rated and come standard with an all-new Quick Dual Release (QDR) attachment method. Using an intuitive button release, the QDR allows the holster to be easily added and removed from a belt without weaving it through traditional belt loops. The QDR can easily accommodate belts ranging from 1.5 to 2.25 inches. In addition to the QDR attachment, all T-Series L2C holsters come standard with a 2-slot belt loop. The 2-slot belt loop has an asymmetrical design that tucks the grip of the handgun towards the body for improvement in concealment.

As the world’s first thumb driven, dual-injected molded holster, each T-Series holster is standard with a soft touch inner layer that is both super slick and sound-dampening. This durable and efficient, low-friction design translates into a smooth, quiet draw or re-holstering of the sidearm.
