Dickinson Arms New Ranger Shotguns

Dickinson Arms has introduced a new-for-2020 family of single-shot shotguns. This Ranger Series includes models designed for the shooting needs of adults and youth, as well as a short-barreled Survival model—at retail prices starting as low as $144 MSRP.

“This is an excellent first shotgun for those getting into the sport, as well as for more experienced shooters looking to add something new and unique to their collections,” said Tim Bailey of Dickinson Arms. “In the Dickinson tradition, this new Ranger Series has a look and feel of quality, despite the fact that it is so affordable. The standard Dickinson Ranger features a simple and reliable break open action for easy loading and operation. It comes with a 28-inch barrel in 12-GA. 20-GA., 28-GA. and .410 bore. The Ranger’s Satin Silver receiver is available in checked Turkish Walnut or rugged black synthetic stock. Both versions offer a rubber buttpad for comfortable shooting and a ventilated rib for better sighting and accuracy. The Dickinson Ranger comes with a fixed Modified choke for 12-, 20- and 28-gauge models and a fixed Full choke on the .410 bore.

A Dickinson Ranger Youth Model is available in 12 gauge, 20 gauge and .410 bore with a 24-inch barrel. Designed to be easy to carry and handle, the shotgun is a great way to bring new people into the sport. Available with a walnut stock and fore-end and Silver Satin receiver, the shotgun has an “Old West” appearance.

Leupold Adds Night Vision Optimized Model to Popular DeltaPoint Pro Line

Leupold & Stevens announced this week that its popular DeltaPoint Pro reflex sight line is expanding, with the addition of two new models optimized for use with advancing night vision technologies.

Available in both a Matte and Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish, the DeltaPoint Pro Night Vision (NV) supports modern night-vision devices by utilizing two new illumination settings that fine tune the red dot to match the sensitivity of your equipment. While the original DeltaPoint Pro works great with legacy night-vision devices, the DP Pro NV adds flexibility for all systems including the most advanced technologies. Ten brightness settings are featured, whereas the standard DP Pro features eight. The DP Pro NV’s two lowest brightness settings and highest singular brightness setting can be fine-tuned incrementally.

The result is that shooters using night-vision optics in combination with the DeltaPoint Pro NV can fine tune the intensity of levels 1 and 2 to optimize performance. The brightest setting, level 10, can be adjusted to best match even the brightest shooting conditions. When needed, it’s easy to reset the DP Pro NV to factory default settings

Zeiss Conquest V4 Riflescopes for 2020

New for 2020, Zeiss has enhanced many of their ZEISS Conquest V4 riflescope models. These enhancements include optimized engraving, 10 yards to infinity side parallax adjustment, variable step reticle illumination, two new reticle designs, and reticle subtension indicators at the magnification settings. What’s the difference between a wire and etched-glass reticle?

Zeiss will offer a total of 22 unique scope configurations within the Zeiss Conquest V4 riflescope portfolio. There are five models available—all with 30mm main tubes: 3-12×44 mm, 3-12×56 mm, 4-16×44 mm, 4-16×50 mm, and 6-24×50 mm. All models deliver 90 percent light transmission, offer a large amount of elevation adjustment, and all are designed to handle up to 1,500 g-force of recoil. Lightweight and heavy duty, these riflescopes deliver confidence in the toughest conditions. The various riflescope choices will service many hunting and shooting applications that are typically encountered in the field and on the range.

Select models of Conquest V4 riflescopes will be available with the all-new, and industry-leading, Zeiss External Locking Windage Turret (ELWT) feature, with a windage limiter. This innovative option allows for easy-to-see reference numbers, immediate turret engagement, confirmed settings, and high levels of functionality for the windage adjustment while in the field. They both offer 0.12 MOA reticle subtensions to serve both long-range hunters and precision shooters alike. The ZBi is a Christmas tree style reticle with minimum reference marks, especially designed for open terrain hunting. The ZMOAi-20 is primarily designed as a long-range shooting reticle that can also double-up for hunting in open terrain or over larger farm fields surrounded by heavy tree lines. These new SFP reticles have one MOA hash marks and support windage holds for aiming correction. When the reticles are combined with the all-new ELWT, the Zeiss Ballistic Stop, and legendary ZEISS optics, they create a package that delivers the payload at any range, in any condition.
