Badlands Pecora Baselayer Blends Warmth of Merino and Durability of Cordura

Merino wool is awesome. It’s light, it’s soft and it’s super warm. But, it’s also a little delicate and over the years starts to show some wear. Cordura, on the other hand, is tough as nails and lasts darn near forever. It’s not really a textile you want to wear next to your skin, though.

What if the mad scientists at Badlands were to come up with a way to combine Merino wool and Cordura? Super warm, tough and comfy? How incredible would that be?

Introducing the new Pecora baselayers, made with Badlands’ cutting-edge DuraSpun Merino. Imagine a thread with a core of super strong Cordura, but wrapped in a fuzzy cocoon of Merino and you’ll start to see what makes Pecora special.

Designed for that early-season hunt where you may get a bit warm on the hike in, then get chilled as you glass for game or set up in a blind. Merino’s moisture-wicking properties pull perspiration away from the skin, which keeps you cool when active and still dry and warm when stationary.

Pecora, which is the Latin classification for the order of critters that include bighorn sheep and pronghorn, includes a full set of gear. From a lightweight legging and crew top, up to a midweight, full-sleeve ¼-zip. All come in Badlands’ innovative Approach camouflage pattern and are built with DuraSpun Merino.
