Mission First Tactical has been awarded patent number 12,276,478 B2 from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for its new Pro Series Holster and Guardian Series holster technology. The patent includes protection for In-line Magnetic Retention, Built-in Vertical Wedge and the Optimized Belt Claw technology.
The utility patent, US 12,276,478 B2, was granted to Mission First Tactical and inventors Bobby McGee and Christopher Pettit. The protection for the intellectual property includes ownership of in-line magnetic retention that provides an 11-pound maximum pull using a strong Neodymium magnet. The system maintains a fully loaded pistol in the holster without any locking devices. This innovative retention does not key off of the weapon mounted light.
In addition, the design brings the top of the pistol closer to the body for ultra-concealment, and a wedge against the body helps prevent holster slump/sagging. The holters also feature an ambidextrous belt claw, with stackable thickness shims and height adjustability.
“Our relentless pursuit of excellence drives us to constantly push the boundaries of innovation in our products,” said, Bobby McGee, executive vice president of product management & innovation at Mission First Tactical. “We are committed to providing industry-leading products that meet the demands of our customers, service members and law enforcement.”
